The plans for St Cuthbert's have been regularly, and extensively, consulted on through out the process as various masterplanning milestones have been reached. Responses from each consultation have influenced the content and direction of the plans. We have produced a consultation feedback document following each public consultation exercise, summarising what has been said and how this will influence future stages of the process. All feedback documents are available to download below.

• Stage One Masterplan: Scoping and Visioning (January - March 2018) - this was the public launch of St Cuthbert's Garden village which sought opinion on where the new settlement(s) should be located and what form they should take. The consultation also explored the initial scope of the St Cuthbert's Local Plan, asking people's opinion on the sort of issues emerging planning policy should address. 
• Stage One Masterplan: Concept Proposals and Vision (June - August 2018) - This second consultation presented the public and stakeholders with the first emerging concept of the Garden Village, based on feedback received at the first consultation exercise and on other evidence amassed over the course of 2018. 
• Stage Two Masterplan: Draft Options (September - October 2019) - This consultation took the Vision and Concept work from Stage One a step forward. Three draft options for a masterplan framework for St Cuthbert's were produced, and public opinion was sought on each. Feedback from this consultation directly shaped the finalised version of the St Cuthbert's Masterplan. 
• Local Plan Consultation (November 2020 - January 2021) - This consultation presented a range of preferred planning policy options for St Cuthbert's Garden Village. Consultation on the draft Strategic Design Supplementary Planning Document was held alongside consultation on the draft Local Plan.
